I went instore today and seen 3 of them out on display with a £399 price tag. It was the same model number as the £89 one. So took a note of the barcode and asked a member of staff can i order one of these.

When she put the number in it stated that this order has now been upgraded to another item and that item was the same model number but had a different barcode and was priced at £89. But they were out of stock and you could not order them anywhere.

I asked then why the same model was £399 at the front of the store and she said she did not know, but it was scanning at £399.

If you took the email order conformation to the store where this exact model is for sale and left a deposit reserving an actual item,when the dreaded email arrives telling you the item is out of stock,but therefore not a missprice,surely you have grounds to buy the reserved item at the lower price..............perhaps dont mention the online order until you know they have refused to supply online..............

when i ordered mine sat night i got an order confirmation and the moneys out of my bank and it just says delivery within 2 weeks they will call 3 days before to arrange delivery


if i get it i do... if not then so be it got to have been worth a try..

wonder how many of these will appear on ebay now tho :rotfl:

Does your bank account show payment made to B&Q or just a reduction in balance which could mean the the payment is "ringfenced" or "protected" but not actually paid out to B&Q.....................

The e-mail says you will be contacted within 3 days to arrange delivery - I presume that means within 3 days of receiving the confirmation e-mail?

Mine will be going on e*bay if it doesn't fit in our little kitchen sadly - going to ask a plumber to come and advise/estimate once I know we are definitely receiving one (if we do).
