Car Designer Software for PC

Does anyone know of any software for the PC which helps you design cars. Desparetly trying to find something but can't seem to come up with the goods. Has anyone used a programme like this?

Solidworks, Solid Edge, and ProE are also around, although they ain't free.

For anything that the Pro's use, prepare to get your wallet out.

There are a couple of freebies out there... http://avocado-cad.sourceforge.net/ , Although it is still in Alpha stage.
