Car Designer Software for PC

Does anyone know of any software for the PC which helps you design cars.

Desparetly trying to find something but can't seem to come up with the goods. Has anyone used a programme like this?

I don't think there will be a specific programme I would of thought a generic 3D Modelling program or a CAD program would do the job.

OK, if you want a free 3D application I can recommend Blender @ http://www.blender.org/

It won't help you design anything though, that requires talent.
  • CAD is probably one of the best to choose from.

Autocad Inventor - if you can spare £40k or get your hands on a pirate copy = £0. ;)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
  • OMG is AutoCAD Inventor really £40,000!? We use that at work, I had no idea it cost that much.

I can assure you that is how much it cost, as part of IT role I was tasked with spec and source of the suite.

Small point, but if the price of this is $6390, then surely that equates to around £4000 not £40,000?

Ok, call IMAS in Newcastle upon Tyne and request a quote - this quote includes training and support.

I'm not that bothered, to be honest.

Just pointing out that US$6390 does not equal £40,000!

    £40,000 is about $55,000
