  • Apart from the Model Me range being reduced which has already been mentioned, my local also has this reduced to under £2. I'm thinking free with new voucher plus 150 ACM points. Haven't tried it yet as I don't have a voucher as I'm still deciding which no7 products to buy to get GWP.
  • can i just ask a question lol well its sort of a queiry

i phoned up cs today regarding my little sale order that eventually went through (only a handful of items as rest had gone lol)

i had 1 broken item and 1 with missing bits, the person i spoke to said they would re-order them and have them out to me straight away, which must have gone through as i have had a confirmation email for them, but then said could i return the items either via store or re-box them and sent them back.

now i am confused lol, this person then went through my order history asking what i had had wrong before with a previous order ( i had an item ruined by what looked like a stanley knife when it had been opened from its delivery box iykwim) which was sorted out.

i was totally thrown by what was said as i hadn't expected it lol but do i need to actually return 2 broken plates and a little toy with a part missing? i binned the plates as i've small children and didn't want them risking playing boats in my box lolol

just asking what to do as the brain is more than frazzled today x
CS are usually ok about replacing broken items, and from many of the posts on here they don't usually expect peeps to return the damaged ones. It sounds like you got a super keen advisor, maybe they've had a lot of complaints lately and feel that some people are trying to abuse the system and their generous returns policy. That's a shame because people like yourself with genuine complaints are made to feel uncomfortable about making a complaint.

Personally I would ask them for a returns label and send the remains of the damaged/incomplete items back, or arrange for them to be collected, there's no need for you to be inconvenienced by having to return them to a store and I doubt if they would expect you to return broken plates as it would be dangerous for the person unpacking them at their end.

With hindsight it's probably best to take a quick photo before you throw away broken things so that you can offer to provide them with the evidence if need be.

One good thing(?) to come out of the sale fiasco is that at least they may have some stock left to replace damaged items, they wouldn't have been able to if everything had sold out completely.

Unfortunately, you can't use a blinkie with electrical, which includes the heated eyelash curler and the pedicure set

I know you cant use a blinkie with the electrical items officially, but I'm sure last time around they were going through on some of the items, even though they shouldn't have. I seem to remember people getting the eyelash curlers and the compact trimmers for £0.99.

Can anyone else remember this please?

Is that Mini Me voucher 20% off voucher still doing the rounds? I'm thinking of getting my nephew some stuff. Do they sell one of those little outfit things that you put a baby in before they go outdoors? I don't mean a coat. One of those cute little outfit things where the baby puts their arms and legs in it. It's like a babygrow thing but worn outdoors? HELP!

    that's what i've noticed too!!

The airports do the same - £3.49 at Manchester and Heathrow (last summer)

Edit: I've quoted from a quotee so this makes little sense as it is! - op said that in London meal deals are £3.49, but are £2.99 everywhere else
