  • just wondered if anyone can help went to my local boots yesterday and tried to get the mens anti fatigue box set which was priced at 3.57 and also on bogohp using my £5 voucher but when the sa scanned it it would not go through she tried saying it was cos it was a gift set which clearly it wasnt so we waited to see the manager cos she seemed a bit dippy....when the maqnager came she tried to say again it was cos it was a gift set but when she tried others and it worked....she then said she wud let us have them under hte voucher but only one she was not going to honour the bogohp which i thought was wrong luckily my husband had wombled another voucher on the way in so we were able to get the two she was stroppy to say the least but i am sure someone said on here you could get them both under hte same voucher or am i going mad lol??? i then came out of the store and rang cs and they tried to say because it was on bogohp thats why it would not work with the voucher but i know last week the no7 stuff worked on 3 for 2 so surely that cant be right tried arguing with the lady on the phone but she wasnt having any of it...ayone else had trouble using htem on mens products as boots seems quite sexist towards women at the mo???
I dont think that range is on the voucher so that will be why it beeped. Do you mean sexist to men at the moment? If so then men are getting a bit of a raw deal at the moment. I suppose they see it as women buy more toiletries/make up, (lets face it, we have far more women bootsers (that post anyway) than men, although what men we do have are lovely. :)) BUT most of the time its the women buying their partners/brothers/dads toiletry bits so mens vouchers would still be used up Im sure!
    'They only had one cow!'
  • hiya yes i mean there are not many products that men can use the vouchers on my husband was so furious yesterday after our bootsing trip thats all we had all day lol...on the voucher it said it would work on wrinkle decrease which was what we picked up still very odd i think

    Hi

Are we all enjoying the snow? The schools are closed, trains and buses not running and so I think that it will be a build a snowman day!!

I have now had 4 GWP, all with codes 31115 478. There are no vouchers in any of them.
No choice or I would have looked for a different one.

have you got a pic of the booklet please? 2 of the boots i went to refued to give onw to me as they "never had it!"

Still pretty new here and not sure if its allowed  but i have one of these vouchers that i wont use and youre welcome to it if you want it.
  • Clearance shelves back end of store (Wulfrun - or is it Mander? centre entrance side) Had a little giggle to myself when I saw Sugababes 'Here Come The Girls' CD single on there for £1 a go. Lots of suncare products on there including No7.

Checked most of the SELs for reduced stock HE etc etc and they are really on the ball in that store I couldn't find a single one except for where the shelves were empty, so I got my lunch and used a wrinkley to get a mini frizz ease (free) and time delay eye cream (£1.86 after voucher) to get another wrinkly.
  • Oh and was at GLASGOW FORT yesterday, wont bore you with my shopping list as its nothing new but did manage to use last blinkie, new wrinklie, vouchers etc and get a few good bargains (thanks all)
They had lots of Gillette putting sets (typed sign at stand saying now free with single purchase) cheapest were shaving foam at 98p and gel at £1.47. Lots of OLAY GWP, no reduced HE that i could see and not much of a clearance stand at all really. 1 lonely Anti fatigue Kit on the shelf too but left that as have got way too many prezzies already and its not really the kind of thing my husband would appreciate!
  • Just woke up, and yes there is snow in Glasgow! Damn it! My shoes are going to get soaked walking to the bus stop!
  • I also still have that black bag and do still occasionaly use it on a night out ( is that bad ?), it has held up brilliantly over the years and with its patent effect exterior its easyto wipe should anything get spilt on it.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
