Wow that is good at the silverlink, is all the items on the shelves with all the full price products, if not where are they located in the store?

    Thanks

I was in my local today and was shocked to be able to find some reduced HE at last (its always been full price when I 've looked) because my local hardly ever has any of the bargains that everyone else gets on here and so I quickly picked up a couple of bottles. I also saw some Charles Worthington reduced and picked up a couple of things to get with my £2 haircare voucher because they were only £1.10 and I also picked up the Tony & Guy copper colour reviver shampoo too because that had a reduced SEL on it but when I got to the tills I had alot of problems with the Charles Worthington and HE becuase a few of them went through at full price. I left the HE because I couldnt be bothered but when it got to the Charles Worthington I got the SA to check 2 of them because I was sure I hadnt misread them and she came back and said one was full price but the other one had a reduced price SEL and so she agreed to override it (I'm sure I hadn't read the labels wrong on the others).
I have just been going through my stuff and checking my receipt and I've realised that the Tony & Guy shampoo which I paid for with my points (along with a couple of other things) has gone through at £4.49!! I now know why my store never have any good bargains - I don't think their computers can keep up with the reductions!! I want to take it back but I don't know where I stand with shampoo (I havent even got copper hair!!) and as it was supposed to be reduced I don't know whether it will still be there with a reduced SEL when I next go to town some time next week. The SA only gave me wrinklies for one transaction too despite me spending over £5 cash on my second one (receipt said I should have got one!!) so not a brilliant shop today.... I Just wanted to warn everyone else to check that their reduced shampoo etc... all goes through at the right price because the SELs arent always right....
On a brighter note I did manage to get a lovely gold Ted Baker Vanity case on clearance for £5 and Ive used up all my No7 blinkies getting the lovely GWP in the process which I think is great.

hi fellow luton bootser:hello: I had a problem with one of my HE not scanning at 73p, despite the reduction on the sel. I took the sel to the till and the SA was happy to override the price. Not all HE is reduced, but a SA I spoke to said they will probably reduce the rest next week, so keep a look out:D

I got 3 of the gold TB bags yesterday and they went through on 3 4 2 only costing £2 each. Bargain:j I wasn't given the new vouchers either in one of my transactions, but I asked for them (I'd earned them afterall;) )SA did give them to me when I asked, but she didn't look too happy:confused: the same thing happened yesterday with the same SA (I think she was a bit put out because I got lots of reduced HE and she probably wanted them for herself.

I bought the reduced T&G too. I think I got the same ones as you and they went through at £1.22:confused: it's worth checking the ACM for T&G vouchers as I got 150 and 100points. If I was you I'd go back with my reciept and ask for a refund. I'm sure they will give it to you when they realise what happened.
  • Just back from shopping Parkate Rotherham and got 4x £1.22 Model me shampoo and conditioners so paid 88p after handing over wrinklies in two separate transactions. Still a few left and other reduces model me products. Unfortunately no voucher in the machine, would have been fantastic to get points too. No reduced HE left, though there is still some in old packaging.

Bought No7 bath soak and 2x bath scrub on 3 for 2 and lip stuff, then handed over blinkie, wrinklie, £5 off p and p, 100 points voucher for No7 and got free GWP. So got more of than I spent and points. SA said I couldn't use two vouchers and I asked her to try (nearly called them blinkie and wrinklie), she was nice and did ,lady behind me in queue told me to separate my purchases, but I didn't need to as they all went through.

Nearly had a second shop to get a second No7 GWP to include mascara as I got 200 points No7 mascara voucher from machine and was going to try and us 250 points from GWP, but I do think the mascara is expensive, so didn't today, but I may go back soon as I'm getting addicted to this.

Edit: looking at post above I could have got GWP without buying No7 lip stuff in that transaction and could have put it with mascara for another GWP.

Were you there shopping with another lady? If so, and if it was about half 12ish then I think I saw you..lol.

Well done indeed! :T When I had the audacity to try using two of the same vouchers in two separate transactions on the same day once, you would have thought I was stood at the checkout murdering innocent little kittens from the SA's reaction

well I tried to buy some P & P with a blinkie and the GWP and was not allowed ! Told her I would take it to the SS tills- she said no you wont and put it behind the counter ! Was a bit embarrassed so scuttled out !

Now gone - I have 6 of the new wrinklie facial vouchers I definitely won't use (I'll keep the haircare side of the vouchers though), so if anyone wants them, just pm me.

Yes you can - and you can use half price No7 electricals too.

I dithered about the new GWP all this week, as I really didn't need any more No7, and definitely not £18 worth just to get an (admittedly very cute) bag.
However, today, I decided on a whim that its payday, so I'm going to treat myself. I bought a No7 mini trimmer (fancied it when I saw it online, and it was also half price in my store) £5.87. I got a clearance No7 day sorbet £3.83 and a clearance lip&eye £2.83 = £12.53. The GWP went through fine, because the mini trimmer was originally £11.74, and the Boots tills recognise the full price on electricals, even if they are now half price, for GWPs. Unfortunately, I didn't have a blinkie left, or it would have only been £7.53.

I spent ages trying to decide if I should go for 3 4 2 on bathing or the trimmer and a pk of wipes to get the new GWP I kept putting stuff in my basket and taking it out again. I decided on the 3 4 2 as I have never tried the bathing range before. The GWP is really cute and much better made than the gold bag that smells awful and is full of dents:D

Got 2 of these today - SEL described them as mens hydra care sets. got BOGOHP on these but were the last 2 on the shelf.
  • I was told the Elle vanity case was out of stock and just got the rest of my order.

I phoned up and had a whinge but was told that it must have been out of stock when the order was picked but was now in stock but at full price. I had another whinge by email and this time got told I didn't get it because the price had changed. They made the mistake of attaching a customer satisfaction survey and asking if I'd like to be contacted. I filled it in firstly saying how pleased I was to get anything as loads of people were disappointed. But that it was really disappointing to not receive items when they were clearly now in stock and I felt I was being given 2 different reasons. I got an email back apologising saying I had been given incorrect information and 1500 points to make up for the disappointment.

Yes it was me with my mum using her card to get the extra over 60s discount.

Thats what I overheard you talking about..lol.

Also saw that the Expert mens shave products are very very reduced(Plain looking white packaging with blue writing). There were lots at Parkgate..not my thing so I left them for others. Im afraid I think it was me who took the last few HE yesterday...sorry.
