Hi angel69 because i just got the P&P No7 lipcare only for £8.60 and tried to pay with both the ACM and blinke. The SA said the till is asking to give u change for £1.40 (i said to myself Do ask the till is asking u to do). She said today is your lucky day and handed me £1.40 change.

    Wow thats great!

Thanks for that!!! I dont think the SA's at my local will allow me to have any money back...they will start the over ride malarcky!!!...so I think I may just pick up a couple of bits for around the £1.40 mark and see if the money comes off...if not then I will return the bits on Mon...unless i find some HE for 73p....then I will grab a couple!!:rotfl:

On another note, managed to find a solitary HE for 44p...bought it and then bought 2 cans of gilette gel at 49p each for OH with points...so 46p for HE and 2 cans!
    :A Carpe Diem:A

 WINS = Nothing...I never seem to win anything!:roll eyes:

Today, I spent about 3 hours in boots, checking all the sels for reductions:rotfl: this bootsing hobby of ours is incredibly time consuming:D anyway, I had another good shop today. I think I need to slow down now though (how many times have I said that?;) ) I'm rapidly running out of places to store my stash. OH would have a fit he saw how many HE bottles I have bought over the past week or so:eek:

    transaction 1

    No7 body polish £8.60

    No7 body wash £7.80

    No7 bath soak 0.00

    No7 GWP

total to pay: £16.40 - blinkie - £10 gift voucher = £1.40 and earned 350 points (100points ACM voucher and 250points voucher from xmas gift set:T I had to ask the SA for the new vouchers, as she didn't give them to me:confused: When she handed them over she went like this:rolleyes: hmmm, don't think she likes me getting so many bargains:p )

    transaction 2

    MM shampoo, £1.22

    T&G shampoo, £1.22

    paid 44p after haircare voucher + I gained 250points with ACM vouchers:T

    transaction 3

    2 x HE shampoo, 73p each

    boots kids shampoo, 25p

    expert instant soothing cream £1.75

    No7 wipes, £6.40

Roc wipes, £6.49 (hmm, just remembered it said £5.8x odd on sel:rolleyes: )

    total to pay: £16.35 - blinkie - winkie - £1 off expert body ACM voucher = £5.35 + I gained 450 points:T (200points HE and 250points from GWP)

    transaction 4

    same as transaction 2

Total cash spent = £7.63 total points earned = 1300
  • Just back from shopping Parkate Rotherham and got 4x £1.22 Model me shampoo and conditioners so paid 88p after handing over wrinklies in two separate transactions. Still a few left and other reduces model me products. Unfortunately no voucher in the machine, would have been fantastic to get points too. No reduced HE left, though there is still some in old packaging.

Bought No7 bath soak and 2x bath scrub on 3 for 2 and lip stuff, loreal wrinkle decrease, then handed over blinkie, wrinklie, £5 off p and p, 100 points voucher for No7 and got free GWP. So got more of than I spent and points. SA said I couldn't use two vouchers and I asked her to try (nearly called them blinkie and wrinklie), she was nice and did ,lady behind me in queue told me to separate my purchases, but I didn't need to as they all went through.

Nearly had a second shop to get a second No7 GWP to include mascara as I got 200 points No7 mascara voucher from machine and was going to try and us 250 points from GWP, but I do think the mascara is expensive, so didn't today, but I may go back soon as I'm getting addicted to this.

Edit: looking at post above I could have got GWP without buying No7 lip stuff in that transaction and could have put it with mascara for another GWP.

Well done indeed! :T When I had the audacity to try using two of the same vouchers in two separate transactions on the same day once, you would have thought I was stood at the checkout murdering innocent little kittens from the SA's reaction

Sorry for chat, but I'm rolling about laughing at that BTVB :rotfl: :rotfl: !!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if you can use the new £2 hair voucher with the reduced Model Me ? If I bought ( e.g.) 2 items at 1.44 each, could I use the £2 voucher to get both for 88p, or doesn't it work like that ?
    Thanks for any help

Thats exactly how it works - and Nottingham Riverside has clearance Charles Worthington too ;) . So 2 CW hair rescue shine gloss @ £1.10 each, hand over £2 off hair voucher = 20p to pay for the pair of them.

The SAs at that store will manually add the T&G 150 points from the ACM to your card when you buy model me, even at the clearance price (been there, done that this week).

I found the best combination is to buy one model me, one charles worthington, hand over your ACM 150 points voucher, then pay with your £2 off hair voucher.

    HTH,

What exactly is it called? It's L'Oreal Men Expert ... I saw something for £11.53 yesterday, is this it?

Its called L'Oreal men expert Anti-Fatigue kit, its a grey washbag with orange piping, with 3 products in. I found mine today at the end of the shaving aisle, with all the other kits (adidas etc). The SEL under it was for something else entirely (anti-wrinkle or something at £14.xx) so I got a SA to price check it for me - indeed it is £3.67 and bogohp.

I did a good deed while I was there too, a little old couple were looking at all the kits, and the cheapest of them was around £10. So I let them know I'd just had that one price-checked, and it was only £3.67. Result - happy little old couple :D

I finally received my Boots online sale stuff and ALL of it was there and NONE of it was damaged. I am so shocked! I got 2 of the No7 vanity case thingys and 2 of the Elle Macpherson vanity cases also. I'm sure some of you were told that this item was out of stock? If you did then you should definitely complain.

    Hello there,

This was in Swindon, and they still had reduced no.7 by the bank of tills for those of you with blinkies. This made me wonder if you could buy £18 of reduced no.7 and still get the new GWP – Does anyone know the answer?

    HTH.

Yes you can - and you can use half price No7 electricals too.

I dithered about the new GWP all this week, as I really didn't need any more No7, and definitely not £18 worth just to get an (admittedly very cute) bag.
However, today, I decided on a whim that its payday, so I'm going to treat myself. I bought a No7 mini trimmer (fancied it when I saw it online, and it was also half price in my store) £5.87. I got a clearance No7 day sorbet £3.83 and a clearance lip&eye £2.83 = £12.53. The GWP went through fine, because the mini trimmer was originally £11.74, and the Boots tills recognise the full price on electricals, even if they are now half price, for GWPs. Unfortunately, I didn't have a blinkie left, or it would have only been £7.53.
