Not even faintly Boots or bargain linked, but I've just had this from my daughter, and it feels like a day when we could all do with a smile:

Her 6 year old daughter mucking about, trying to play with mother's boobs (no idea where that came from), getting nowhere, said
“when I’m a grown up I’m going to play with my own boobs”.
Her 4 year old sister said “Well, you’re sensible when you’re a grown-up so you won’t need to”.
  • Hi, can anyone add the pic of mrs bluebear's eye makeup - the leopardy type one please. Thanks you - I can't remember exactly when it was and 99.9% sure it was on this thread and not the refugees one.
    Cheers

Saw lots of SCHWARTZKOF and HARMONY and SHOCKWAVES hairsprays on clearance today too, at like 60p. The SCHWARTZKOF one was BOGOF too, so super bargain.

Didn't manage to find any handwashes on clearance and the L'oreal Men's thing was full price too, even though I had it price checked. Boohiss. Didn't see any snowsuits/all in ones for nephew, so will have to go somewhere else.

Worked out my shopping at £6.89, but forgot to take £2 off for haircare, so ended up spending £4.89 and missed on a blinkie/winkie. Drat.

Can anyone comment on how good the Chanel skin care range is? I love the bath and body stuff, and currently having problematic skin, would like to try this..but dont wanna spend £60 to find out it gives me a rash as I dont think they'd take it back would they?

Hi, if anyone does manage to get the method handwash reduced to 88p - Grabbit! not only is it a fab smelling foaming handwash, but when it is finished you can re-use the foaming bottle. I use the cheapest boots handwash (49p) and dilute it 2cm in the bottom and top up with water - lasts aaagggeeesss, and the method bottle does a really good job of 'foaming' the soap. hth

Since I got the less than fabulous 100points for No7 Bathing range or whatever, I'm trying to think up ways i can get another gwp fairly cheaply

So I was thinking 3 of the bath soaks - should come in at around £24, but on 3 for 2 so £16, minus the blinkie, plus 100 points, plus 250 points coupon (maybe?)

or is there a better way?

Hi, if you do the above, can you still get the GWP? Or does the till recognise that you haven't spent the required £18?

    Thank you

I bought today a HE shampoo which I thought had been reduced to 44p. It went through the till at £1.76!!. Paid and then I realised the mistake so I asked for a refund. The till adds 100 points for the sale but only deducts 4p when it is refunded back to your card. Anyone brave enough to try a big shop!!! 96 points each refund. Worth a try.

    snipped...
There was also quite a few toys with the Christmas gift stickers on so I took one to the tills and asked if they were reduced. They came up as full price so I said surely they should be reduced as they are Christmas stock. The SA phoned through to someone and they agreed to give it to me for the 75% off!!!

I posted on Mon that i'd also seen loads of toys like this in LEEDS BOND ST. store if anyone fancied giving the above a go.

Groan! I've just seen loads of this stuff reduced but as I've never heard of it I left it!! I also saw the hand stuff (?anti-bacterial) and shower stuff on reduced too. It's worth getting then I take it?! Thanks Minimoneyme.
