Well done to everyone who managed to place orders and commiserations to those who didn't.

There is still a lot of sale stock showing when I add 99 to items in my basket so who knows where it will go? There are over 99 No7 Ultimate skincare sets alone so I bet that they will be kept for Mother's Day.


At least we can all now get some sleep!!!

This happened to me when the sale first went live but both orders ended up showing as pending and then both arrived! I ended up keeping both orders as the sale had crashed by that point, I was counting myself lucky and knew I could still make use of the stuff, but part of me wonders whether this "crashing" is just another ploy my Mr B to get us to place multiple orders and part with even more cash!

Somebody asked about her order being stuck on just processing. I put an order in about 1.40pm on Thursday and mine says the same. The other order that I put through early in the morning has been despatched. Hopefully both our orders will progress to being despatched sometime today.

What is interesting though is that the majority of sale items I ordered are available for re-order on .com but at full price. Either the website is reporting the stock levels wrong or there is more stock than we would be led to believe. Either that or I just like unpopular sale items.

I think it's likely that a lot of the things showing as available have actually already been sold, and as soon as the warehouse gets to packing that particular order, items will disappear. Some of them may then reappear later as available, and then may go away again. I think that's part of the problem for .com during this sale -- it can't keep track of inventory when a lot of the same items are being bought at the same time.

in 7½ days between my 2 order numbers theres over 300,000 orders been done so I guess boots was very busy that week lol

Collected my pushchair from york yesterday,so excited cant wait to use it, and the place was across the road from monks cross centre, they had a few bottles of HE reduced on sel, left for other bootsers, also some baby hippy chick bed protector sheets reduced. not much else.

Can north east bootsers plz keep a look out for baby items reduced, I'm in need of some bits for imminent arrival in 3 weeks, and have read on here certain stores are clearing some baby things.any help greatly appreciated.

I placed on order when the sale was back on after lunch - just checked the thread and realised it was back on. I quickly placed an order and the site crashed after that. I did not receive an email from boots acknowledging the order and paypal payment showed as 'pending'. I have been waiting ever since to receive a cancellation email but checked my account today and the items have been dispatched. So whoever is in my position, you might just get your order!
