Hi, I've reviewed my EGG file and I think I know the response the following will get, but here goes anyway:

    I have recieved the following 4 default notices from EGG: 26/01/07, 29/03/07, 27/04/07, 25/05/07.

I have also recieved 3 of the same letters from Trevor Munn: 14/12/07, 13/10/08, 13/01/09.

I have also recieved other letters from Trevor Munn all claiming that a County Court Claim is being prepared and all adding £190 court fees plus £100 solictor fees to the total debt: 29/05/08 & 03/01/08.

Also too many other letters from Egg, DLC, & Arc to count.

Am I alone in thinking this is madness, harrassment, etc... Is there a letter template for requesting terms of agreement & a statement?

You need to put in a CCA request . After 12+2 the account will be indisput and no action can be taken until a CCA is sent .

I did this over a year ago & a true CCA was returned. Therefore i've agreed a monthly amount & have been paying this ever since. Albeit late on a few occasions.

Has the CCA been checked by anyone?

So, you've received 4 default notices, is that correct?
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional

The CCA was from another credit card company & yes it was checked & yes it was okay.

The 4 default notices were all from Egg.

Who did this CCa come from and to what account did it relate?

Were they the same account? can you scan them or take photos and post them up somewhere, with links on here?

Have they sent out broken payment arrangement letters in the past? Were they as harsh as this? I'm pretty sure what you've just received is a template.
