Hi
sorry to rant but i had a free aol trial which i cancelled by phone 15 days into it as my broadband started. They billed me last month so i emailed them and they said i hadn't cancelled so i had to call a number, and despite them knowing i have cancelled and want to make sure it is compltely cancelled they take the money again.
Is there anything i can do about this????
I am turning red as we speak

if you have proof of cancelation then you are entitled to a refund was the money taken by direct debit if so you should be protected under existing legislation to protect consumers when they have been unfairly charged If you do not get any joy then I am sure that a little word in thier ear about bad publicity on the internet will not harm your case for redress

This happened to me several years ago.I believe that in America, AOL have
just paid a multi million dollar fine as a result of making it difficult for people to
cancel and move on painlessly to another supplier.I for one will never ever
deal with AOL again.0
