How can i check vodaphone coverage?

I like the look of the vodaphone only Samsung, Steel L810, if i get it how can i check it will work well where i am?

    Try http://maps.vodafone.co.uk/coverageviewer/web/default.aspx

    You can also do a manual search for all networks on your existing phone. Voda shows as available for my postcode on the map from the above site, but the phone tells me that it only gets T-Mobile and Orange inside the house.

    Hmm well found it and typical the only part out of where we live and it doesn't look covered grrr

    Ok thanks the firs can you or someone just confirm something as think ive looked at it wrong! The blue is coverage for calls etc, the red is for 3g and the turqouise is for plcaes that may not have coverage..have i got that right?

    Find one of your mates who has a voda, and ask to try it at your place.

    The problem is everyone wants 100% coverage all the time, but no one wants a mast anywhere near them. . .

    That's certainly how I interpret the map, and even then I'd do as Quentin suggests or at least do the manual search to make sure the map isn't being too optimistic. I reckon that if there's any turquoise near you then it brings the real possibility of dead spots in your home too.

    This is by far the most reliable method of checking. I know someone who has great coverage in his back garden but as soon as he goes indoors the signal drops to zero.

    That's very true, there are more mobile phones than people in the UK. Users are demanding better and faster services, but are often hypocritical about how that coverage is achieved.
