Have you ever tried unpasturised milk? The Weston A Price Foundation were always extolling the virtues, just wondered about your thoughts on that

Have to say our fridge is no where near empty.
At the moment the fridge has
    • 1kg carrots
    • red onions
    • 2 courgettes
    • tomatoes
    • 4 oranges
    • 2 apples
    • 8 bananas
    • 1kg parsnips
    • kale
    • grapes
    • chillis
    • 1/2 tin peas
    • 1/4 tin beans
    • 1/ tin tomatoes
    • 2/3 tin kidney beans
    • vegan pesto
    • pure (dairy free spread)
    • soya milk
and that is just off the top of my head as there is much more than that in the fridge. We buy the basic stuff mostly but we also buy things when reduced to keep costs down (partner buys meat from the butcher and freezes it in portions). Just because you spend little doesn't mean you have basically nothing in at all times. I have to say our freezer is well stocked as are our cupboards. We always have plenty of food which is how I know we could spend less than we do now :o.

its you that doesnt get it arran, we like what we eat, why shouldnt we eat the things we like, we are ok with what we spend on food, weve tried it both ways and know what we prefer

spend more, eat things we dont really like, have to spend time cooking/in a hot kitchen

spend less, eat things we do like, dont have to spend a lot of time in a hot kitchen

yep, defo know which we prefer

    still, bye bye

They have no hot water in the kitchen 9or anywhere else in their gutard) to wash up with so they take high fat/calorie c r a p from iceland from their freezer to reheat in their microwave, they then eat it from the container which is disgusting and more animal like than we eat in our house.

I do a big shop on a Saturday, and usually spend about £100. That is plenty of fresh fruit, veg, decent meat, and also plenty of junk, toiletries, cleaning products, and I usually try and buy 1 or 2 items of cheap holiday clothes whilst I am there, to put away. That lasts us ( 2 adults , and the 2 kids who still live at home) . Only really top up with bread and milk throughout the week.
    I don't know much, but I know I love you ....<3

The bananas do fine in the fridge. Have to say it sounds as if you do not believe me in the fact that the bananas are in the fridge. I can assure you that you can keep bananas in the fridge. Some of the bananas are a bit black as they are a bit over 'ripe' but they were that way before they went in there.
