phoned npower today to see what my tarriff would be change too, when my fixed deal runs out march, the lady told me what my new tarriff would be,this is the bit that gets me,i asked her just out of interest what my current tarriff was, just to compare it against my bill, then she tells me the tarrif which i have on my bills, isn't the one i am being charged, she said i am being charged the standard tarriffs for both elec and gas including all the increases since i fixed,so they are going to try and sort it,but surely if the tarriff that is on my bill is the fixed one,how would a different tarriff show up on my account on their computer,it's got me baffled, hope you can understand it better than me

does anyone know how this could happen?
  •   Only in Npowerland:eek:

Their customer service is terrible, not the people as such, but there processes are usless and nothing ever seems to get resolve.

Log a complaint and make sure you take the name of the person you speak with and a complaint no. , which should force Npower to act within 28 days, if not go straight to the onbudsman. Follow the complaint up in writing and send by recorded post.

I can't ever imagine I'd be so desperate to return to Npower EVER!

I'm sure that what they print on your bill is what you're supposed to be charged at... how very strange!

Perhaps the individual you spoke to on the phone you got it wrong? Got confused or something?... *positive* Maybe you are being charged at the rates quoted on your statement?

well phoned npower for an update on the bill,it has now been resolved,i was on the fixed rate that ends in march 09 for gas,but they hadn't fixed my elec tarriff, which they were supposed too,but they can't tell me what ammendments that have been made, they say i will need to wait for my next bill coming out, which is not until May!!!!,to see the ammendments they have made
