confirmation of £9.50 holiday?

hi,
i booked my £9.50 sun holiday using the priority booking online, i got a confirmation email after paying the money.
i wsa just wondering if anyone has got any form of postal confirmation?, im not sure what happens now as i havent booked these before (i got a priority code from a very kind person who would not be able to use the £9.50 holiday this year)

Now that you have made your booking online and payment has been taken, your booking is forwarded to the relevant holiday company/independent site who will issue confirmation etc.
Unfortunately this takes some time as most of the holiday camps concerned put the Sun people to the back of the queue. It is best to keep a record of your booking number (not the payment ref) for later on in case you do not receive confirmation from the Park.
The Sun help line number will be open once the booking deadline has closed - it was published in the 20 things every sun reader etc in the paper. The parks have until then to get your confirmation out.

Booked for May in the new forest and got postal confirmation from the holiday park yesterday regarding payment of surcharges etc.

We haven't had confimation yet either but we've been on four Sun Holidays before and never had a problem with the bookings. It can take a while for the details to come through from the Holiday Park.

I got confirmation this morning of my postal booking. My second choice of park and third choice of date so it looks as though demand has been high this year.

TravellingAbuela : Can I ask when you originally sent your booking form off - were your dates in popula times like school hols??

This is my first year of doing the Sun hols but i guess around school hols any thing will be a bonus as the prices in the park really jump up around then!!

Hi,

Do you have to wait til you get confirmation from the holiday park to try and arrange an upgrade? Haven't upgraded before so not sure if I can do it before?

Pennyprincess - I posted my booking form 14th January so it's been quite quick coming back. I didn't want school holdays - in fact my first choice was 23rd March! I have been given 27th April which quite surprised me as I thought the early dates wouldn't be in high demand. Hope you don't have long to wait.

Many Thanks..I am still waiting just really want my choice of date ratherthan park - we also gave them 5 areas (any park) and i wrote a little note saying "dates were more important" . I guess i may be a little dissapointed if i gotteh one in Northampton that got stuck in with all the Norfolk ones:rolleyes: and maybe Dorset as thats in the next county but hey its a cheap holiday right, hoping will be a laugh?

Anyone else had any postal confirmations through what did you get/ Are you happy ??
