T-Mobile contract renewal
Hi all
My contract with T-Mobile ends on 13 Feb. I've already given notice (I can apparently change my mind). The best they offered me when I rang was a Samsung Pixon (the phone I'm after) on Flext 30 (plenty of minutes etc) on an 18 month contract with free Web n Walk. I was a bit miffed that I'd been offered this for my loyalty when they're offering the same thing for new customers online! The contract I'm currently on is 12 months with Flext 35 (so lots more minutes etc) and web n walk for £22 per month!
Last time I cancelled with them (been with them a long time now), someone phoned me before the contract actually ended and offered me something quite a lot better than I'd been offered when I phoned them. Does anyone know if they still have this department? Any other tricks to get them to push the price down a bit?
Thanks in advance!
Clare

If they want to keep you (depends on your monthly spend) someone from the retentions dept may call you before the contract ends.
Just keep saying to them (whatever they offer you) 'is that really the best you can do?" and see what they come back with. . .0 -
I got offered £5 per month discount when previous 18 months they'd given me £15 off, the chap said it was the bst he could do....so guess what i did0

you better off going through one of the non direct routes and getting a free gift like ps3 or extra cashback with a new phone0

sorry to jump in this thread but im having a similar problem with regards to t-mobile's offer.
i have been with them for a long time, currently on flext35, but i also have the friends and family discount. my contract is up at the end of jan, and they wont offer me a free upgrade as they normally would.
they say i have to pay the full rrp, i went to my local tmobile store to see if i could get them to sort something out, but due to my discount they would have to go through their main sales office to give me an upgrade, in which case they will flag up that i have to pay the full price.
the discount is the only reason i can think off, anyone else ever had this?
or know what i can do to get around it.0 -
am having the same problem with T-Mobile - have actually finished my contract and wanted their best offer. £5 discount off full price or phone upgrade. Poor...
I want to keep my phone, do I need a pack code now or later to be able to transfer the number over to another provider?? And if I want to stay with T-Mobile, but on a new contract through a retailer - can I still do that? What I mean is, do I cancel but get taken back in again?0 -
