warranty issue and black horse

Having read all of your posts..why so many on the same subject? it does appear that you have an attitude problem. Maybe that is why you didnt get any help from the dealer or black horse. If you really think you have a case then you need a solicitor or take it to the small claims court.
That breed of people are all the same. We had some knob in last week who wanted to sue us cos we wouldnt take a cheque for a 7000 car. Couldnt get thru to him that his cheque guarantee card was only for 250 notes...0 -
harvey i dont really see the relevence in ur post0

Does it not come under the sale of goods act? Age and mileage would be relevant here though, i.e if its 4 years old wear and tear should be less of an issue than if its 12 years old. (i'm note sure when they started making boxsters but I think it was late 90s IIRC).I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling0

I've owned Porsche's since I was 18 from 944s to 997s, if you cant afford to fix them you cant afford to buy them, had an issue with the wifes Boxster S on 2nd gear engagement, its part of ownership.
They are reasonably expensive to buy new so when they are old the parts I'm afraid are still costly, this needs to be planned for with either a good warranty or a fighting fund left to one side.
Oh, and no one is jealous of a Boxster. No one.

No YOU don't expect problems within 6 months of ownership of a 2nd hand car.
I do.0 -
i bought a 60k miles ex military minibus in October and have had to replace the starter and the clutch and i've not yet done 1000 miles in it, its part of the joy of owning vehicles.
I once bought a second hand a car with a warranty, the engine blew up and the warranty was a waste of time, the dealer ended up fitting a second hand engine in it:A R.I.P. Think people forget that if a car cost 40K new then no matter how old it is it still takes 40K car parts to fix it.
Thats why so many luxury barges are so cheap - you could get a good one, but get one that goes wrong and something quite small can make it unviable to repair0 -

ps and is does not matter wether you have money or not by the way! its a question of principle and everyone is entitled to that0 -

I don't think the fact that you had no money and brought an old bottom of the range car car on finance had anything to do with peoples postings.0
