    Lovely :D

Come down to Bodiam Castle take a trip or lunch on the Kent & East Sussex Railway, then go up to Ewhurst Green (1 mile from Bodiam) for fantastic views from the garden at the White Dog Inn! :D

The castle is great for kids with loads of activities during the summer
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)

Thanks for that - Bodiam is lovely - haven't been there for years, and the kids would love it.
  • Time flies - and Mon/Tues are the big days for the final move of everything down there.
  • Crime in Rusthall is high, for the amount of population, though I think the local police are working on it. Nice area, I have friends there. :T

I think they have a few problems with kids, but nothing that OP should be too concerned about I'm sure.

Welcome to the area Edna, hope the move went well :D

They have installed lots of cameras which is a good thing. And my friend who does admin for the police, says lots of ASBOs are being given out, so it seems like they're on top of it!! :T

Not in contrast to Inner London where we were before! :)

Feel we've "arrived" but the piles of boxes to unpack are still there!! :)
  • Oh, and if anyone can recommend a reliable local plumber (or for that matter any other builder/roofer/electrician/plasterer/demolition contractor - OK the last one is a joke) then please do feel free to post names here.

    Thanks.
