Problem with slider MOBILE PHONE, help please.
My daughter has a SAMSUNG E350 mobile phone. It is a slider phone and is not working, due to the wires wearing out (we believe)due to the constant sliding motion.
Does this happen with ALL slider phones, please?
She likes the slider style but does not wish to buy another if the same thing is going to happen again.
Many thanks for your help.

i never had any problems with any of my slider phones by Sony Ericsson or Nokia, but personally i've owned only 1 Samsung, and hated it, so sold it after 3 months, so i can't comment on the build quality of Samsung Phones..0

Sometimes you can get a duff batch. I bet the slider was always a bit wobbly but they're generally ok if looked after.Prof planning and public rights of way person. Studies all things tech!0

slider and flip phones are the most common type to have faults due to the moving parts compared to other handsets.
they are built to last... however as i find with flip/slide handsets, i inadvertantly slide/flip it if i'm bored!
so, if it's supposed to last 5 years (open closing say 10 times a day) and you flip/slide it 100 times a day, then it'll only last 6months!
same with everything i guess!
could be worth contacting handset manufacturer if it's within warranty.
