    if you work in London, and are anywhere near Cannon Street, there is a Spanish Bank called BBV that are always very reasonable.

    Thomas cook dont charge commision and have just got 1 rate for any amount of currency. This rate is supposed to be better than other foreign exchange places on the high street although there will be the odd time they're not.

  • In an ideal world - she could get it out of an ATM while abroad using a Nationwide flex card if you have one and trust her not to withdraw like crazy.
  • Post Office is the better option ...i think
  • best rate that I got was in Tesco .My local has a currency exchange booth instore and I got a better rate than the Post Office.

    Our post office have stopped displaying their rates at the moment, so take it thats a sign they're not as good as the others on the high street, no doubt someone will correct me if im wrong, the best rate i saw today was 1.02455.
