There is an article about him and his company in his local paper. As usual everybody is wrong but him! :-
http://www.echo-news.co.uk/search/4151299.Whizz_kid_denies_firm_has_done_any_wrong/What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
It looks like things are moving on with the investigation so things will all come out in the wash as my mum would say...
Can we have some more comments from Germany please as these are very interesting and you may influence [Name removed by Forum Team] to join you.
P.S I trust no one on here is threatening [Name removed by Forum Team] or his property as this is not what MSE is about.0 -
Wow, what a read!! Much better than a best seller. Cannot wait for the ending.:DThe best things in life are free.....0

Gosh. The thlot pickens. Thanks to trisontana's link it's now pretty obvious what has gone wrong:Mr [Name removed by Forum Team] said: “We are confident there is nothing to be found and
I would never let the incident of fraud occur.
“We feel it may be customers using the term fraud loosely, but not quite comprehending what it means."
Purchasers alleging that they never did get their goods, had their credit cards screwed for unagreed extra payments, got whacked for weird charges like "security checks" etc were actually so completely uneducated that they erroneously cried:"FRAUD!!!"
when they should instead have been nominating Mr [Name removed by Forum Team] , who knows what the definition of "fraud" is on account of having 15 GCSEs, as Young Businessman Of The Year.
End of story then.
It's the customers wot did it, guv.

Please would it be possible for someone to post a summary of how to go about getting a refund?
I bought a sat nav back in January and the 6 weeks delivery time has now well and truly passed, so I would like to reclaim the 90 odd quid for the sat nav plus the 6.70 he charged me for trying to get in contact with himself. Call me lazy but I don’t really fancy reading through 16 pages of stuff, I also thought that it would be useful to have a summary to help anyone else who are in a similar situation to myself.
Thanks

To cut a very long story short the overcharged, incorrect and cancelled mobile phone was eventually delivered to my address. GC's PC's still refused to refund the money insisting I return the phone and pay for the postage which would be refunded, doh I don't think so going off their track record! I instead went for a chargeback and recently got a full refund.
I have tonight had a message left on my mobile phone, no e-mail or any other type of correspondence, with a male voice from GC's PC's stating that I need to contact them ASAP and pay them (if I heard right) £800 or the debt collectors will be calling at my door on Friday. Whether that is Friday 6th March or next week I do not know ??
I have made it clear to them if they supply the postage I will return the phone but nothing is simple with GC's PC's!
I would be interested if anyone has also had this interesting development and threat?
............... but as GC's PC's have said all along they have done nothing wrong and it is the customer that is at fault!
Friday may end up an interesting day for me so watch this space!0 -
Lol thats very funny
Dont worry debt collectors cant and wont turn up at your door. What a stupid idiot to say that
So please dont be worried. First of all, he would have to get a ccj, then a warrant of execution, county court hearing, which would take many weeks and in which you would have a defence etc.
Basically hes trying to call your bluff so dont be fooled. I would simply hold on to the phone until he provides the postage/jiffy bag in advance.
Theres nothing he can do and a county court judge with all your evidence wouldnt entertain his claim

I have this picture in my head of 16 year old [Name removed by Forum Team] and Dad [Name removed by Forum Team] telling the judge that he is wrong and that their interpretation of the law is the right one!The man without a signature.0
