Blimey it has just taken me a hour to read this thread!

I am gobsmacked and cannot believe The [Name removed by Forum Team] have done this and thought they could get away with it.

I will keep a eye on this thread as its a amazing read.

I hope anyone who lost their money to the crooks get it back.

I've been watching this thread's progress as a lurker, finally have time to comment.

I found it funny in several places, especially re: GC's replies and attitudes. He comes across as... well... a bit thick, really.

Then I remembered why this thread exists in the first place - because he has been so viciously responsible for causing an unknown quantity of heartache to so many people. And it wasn't funny any more.

[Name removed by Forum Team] if you're still reading this, and if you still have no moral issue regarding your behaviour towards others, I do hope some form of karma visits you or those you love to teach you the errors of your ways. Family members of mine have been victim to scumbags like you and sadly no amount of trading standards warnings or injunctions prevents them from continuing their wicked ways.

The [Name removed by Forum Team] do need to face the full force of the law, then be sentenced to working in the Siberian salt mines for the rest of their lives.

And if [Name removed by Forum Team] does read that - yes, [Name removed by Forum Team] , that means you will have to do some good, honest, work for a change.

It makes a refreshing change to see one of the scammers actually cornered and facing the law.

So often the thieves simply dissappear never to be heard of again, the odd refund and a few out of pocket.

This one is different, we can follow the progress and watch this family of thieves get taken to account for their crimes.

At last the innocent victims can witness the breaking down of the thieving scamming ways of a bunch of crooks.

It's a shame to see so many people facing financial difficulties in these times but in this case, bankruptcy will be cheered and long term financial ruin for these crooks will carry no sympathy.

What amazes me is how they got the intial publicity of "16years old sponsoring Southend Utd on £60k a year" etc. If this had not occured then I doubt we would be where we are now with this thread and the involvment of HMRCS, Old bill and TS.

Wouldn't surprise me if the thick 16year old cvnt and the other thick b4stard his father probably generated the publicity themselves so more people would flock to their website so they could rake in more cash.

As always said theives and conmen always get caught when greedy and I think the above is a testament to that.
  • There isn't much to update you with at the moment. DS Dovaston understandably cannot say much at the moment as it is an ongoing investigation and only the start of this.

It is the same for me - if things go further and become sub judice and I am not saying that they will and have no way of knowing - then it will go quiet for a while. But I will keep on the case and when DS Dovaston can say anything I will provide updates here, on digital spy and also Computeractive's website.

However DS Dovaston is asking people to contact him if they have a problem with GC's PCs and his details are below. I will give any advice I can - eg re claiming a chargeback from a bank, [EMAIL="dinah.greek@incisivemedia.com"]dinah.greek@incisivemedia.com[/EMAIL]

Re recent press stories concerning GC's PC's:
If you have been similarly affected, please provide the following details to Detective Sergeant Simon Dovaston at Essex Police,
    [EMAIL="simon.dovaston@essex.pnn.police.uk"]simon.dovaston@essex.pnn.police.uk[/EMAIL].
    1. Contact details, including name address, email address and phone numbers
    2. Details of the complaint and loss incurred
If possible, please provide documentation relating to your transaction, or dealings with the company GC’s PC’s so the complaint be documented.
    Regards
    DS 1039
