And all the time we thought that mummy was either dead or living in Newcastle. (no jokes please about that being the same!)

I'm amazed that it has taken this long to arrest the alleged thief and his family, I would like to see a list of things that he has been charged with. But I have found one more thing that I am surprised has been missed over the past few months here - the GC's PC's Price Checker and his Price Match Guarantee!!!!

I cannot post an URL here so I will have to cut-n-past the original page at the bottom of this post.

As an aside, when I right-clicked to copy this over here, a VBScript Messagebox popped up, telling me "Sorry, this site is copyrigted (C). If you would like to copy anything from this site or view source code, please seek permission to do so by emailing gcspcs at gmail.com."

Like everyone else who has cut-n-pasted bits of his site on here, I believe the following snippet of his site constitutes fair use under the Copyright Act as it is only a small snippet and is to demonstrate a fact to other people.

{Removed by Forum team} must also be due to take his AS Exams now?!? Perhaps he got his 15 GCSE's by writing a letter to the exam board explaining how stressful his parents split up was and got them that. Please, please someone tell me he won't be able to top-up his marks by writing a letter to the exam bopard saying how he was under stress because so many people had committeed fraud and age discrimintation against him and then the police arrested him accidently after clearing him of all charges??

I won't because I can't! At university, people can get away without doing their exams through buying a doctors note!

firefox + the noscript addon = no copyright message (as scripting should be disabled)

or you could go to view, page source and view the source code of the site

but i guess thats not of much use now since the site is offline

Or claiming a fake bereavement in the family, we had one in our year group who said her mother died. Her mother came back from the dead for the graduation though and she got a 1st despite being the relaxed type.

Glad to see this moron has finally been taken out... well we hope anyway. Until his next venture

Whilst I don't believe a word that {Removed by Forum team} says, there is the distinct possibility that the Mrs {Removed by Forum team} that lives with them and who is likely the arrested female is his Stepmother.

I am still not convinced about that. For instance I have found this quote from the original and glowing newspaper article :-

His mother has left home, leaving his father to look after {Removed by Forum team} and his two siblings. His father worked for York International in Basildon before it closed down. He now works as a gardener.

So no talk of a step-mother there, just about the father having to look after the children.

    A word of caution:

Whilst it is great news that the {Removed by Forum team} Emporium has been stopped in its tracks, do not pin too many hopes on a successful conviction or even that the matter will go to a criminal court.

As I posted earlier in this thread, I was one of the victims of the infamous Zippymilk on e-bay and despite the huge amount of evidence provided all over the country by his victims, the CPS never brought a prosecution due to "insufficient evidence", even though the list of victims having contacted the police ran into hundreds.

There's justice and there's the economic reality of launching a prosecution and the two don't always meet.

I hope that I am wrong and that this will go further, but my past brush with the justice system has left me understandaby dubious in the matter.

mooching around what's left of gcspcs i noticed he's using a lycos account as an image server. for example on his 404, this is against lycos's T&Cs i believe, i haven't checked, but it usually is. anyway they don't generally like fraudsters using their free service so i dropped in a report.

the lycos account is in the name of gcspcsstore2008

lycos have deleted his account :rotfl:
