no more slow torrents just a nice continuous 180KB download speed and no uploading which for a free usenet service that uses giganews servers is good.

BT have newsgroups? does downloading from them count as part of the packages download allowance?

Do you know if BT newsgroup messages are moderated? I used to read them a lot on other sites. Most servers provide newsgroups but are not selective so there is a lot of unsuitable stuff on them (!!!!!!) - and nutcases. I used to get a lot of Spam when I used them. You can always have a look via Google or Yahoo. I think they both give access. To get round the SPAM issue use an email that you don't have to worry about, e.g. joebloggs@bigfoot.com
