  • I managed to spend nothing yesterday and nothing so far today either. I expect I'll have to put deisel in my old car soon but, apaprt from that, I'm doing quite well. I need a couple of quiet weeks this month, as funds are tight!

  • Hi jamieDodger,

I've had quite a good weekend - went out for (bleugh) staff planning day yesterday but got taken to v. posh restaurant with free food and drink (yeah) - my train fare was paid as used my weekly ticket from during the week and just walked to the restaurant as said I wanted some fresh air (most people got taxis!). My boyf went to Asda and got the weekly shop (probably last us 10 days to be honest) for £45.

Today I went to the (off the back of a lorry probably) local Sunday market to get cleaning stuff like cheap dusters and scourers and big packs of loo roll and kitchen roll. Spent £11.50 on this - but then spent £1.20 on a Sunday paper I'll probably not get round to reading and a crazy £5.80 on cheap sweets and biscuits and juice!

Anyway, all in all not too bad. Planning to go out for a walk soon then maybe do a job application and make some soup.

Interested to hear what everyone else has spent.
