Has anyone tried ringing the comp line and asking? I'm just on my way out but will ring them later if still no confirmation.

I did try yesterday but nobody would speak to me. The woman on the phone said if it was to do with the comp, I had to leave a msg and they would get back to me....then the line went dead

No - still waiting for hotmail (Live.co.uk) confirmations. Have tried resend option - hope nobody needs early booking for flights. No problem like this last year - confirmation emails all received on day list published.

How bloody annoying! Just rang the comp line, told them my mums name was on the winners list yesterday lunch time but has now been removed, she started saying something about confirmation been recevied within 2-3 days, I said but I'm wondering if she will actually get confirmation 'cos her names no longer on the list, she said one moment please, and I was put through to a answering machine telling me about confirmation emails :mad: so never got an answer!

THey did say though they are having problems with approx 2000 emails, presumbably hotmail.

We have been affected by a few technical problem where customers with certain e-mail addresses have not been receiving our e-mails. We are advising all customers to wait until Friday 13th February to see if you receive an email or letter in the post. If you do not receive anything by this date then please apply on line at www.jet2.com/45 to re send, preferably not using a Hotmail address as Hotmail has rejected our e-mails.


I had already requested a resend to a non hotmail address but I still havent got anything . I don't think they are in that much of a hurry . I will probably end up with a flight to Blackpool in the end :eek: .

i wonder if the reason we've not received them is because Hotmail servers regard any sudden influx of large quantities (2000) of mail from one address as spam, and block the lot? Perhaps we've been hoist on our own hotmail success petard.
