I've won, yet I'm still waiting for an email, too (i also have a Hotmail account).
I managed to submit at 12.34 on Friday lunchtime.
By the time we get our winners code, i bet a lot of the flights will have already gone. Grrrr!!!!!!!0 -
I found this number in the t&c's, supposed to be the competitions department, 01132387444
I rang the customer services (not on the number above, no answer from that when I tried, was late on though) earlier to ask why my mums name which was on the winners list at lunch time has now been removed, they didn't know but said she should get confirmation. I told them we had hotmail addresses and hadn't had a single confirmation between us, also told them people from here with hotmail addresses hadn't got confirmation either. All she said was she didn't know why and they could arrive at anytime. The customer services though by the sounds of it are in India, and didn't really seem to know what was going on. Will try the comp department tomorrow, hopefully will have more luck with them.0 -
Oh, and I copied and pasted the winners into excel, to see how many winners there was (too much spare time!) and to see if my mums name had been replaced. 9797 winners altogether, not 10,000!0

Another two numbers for them are 020 3031 8101 or 020 3031 8102. I spoke to someone earlier on this evening (yes it's a call centre in India) and they knew about the comp.0

Its not Jet2's fault your emails haven't arrived yet, its Hotmail's for delaying them. Jet2 will have sent everyone's emails out at the same time.0 -
yes, i guess you're right. though i've had this hotmail account for almost a decade, and as far as i'm aware, there's never been delays before. for instance, whenever i register for anything or buy anything, i get confirmation almost instantly.0

Agreed . All of my other mail arrives instantly . I'm more worried that the mail was rejected ! Why would the message bounce around and eventually get delivered ? I have checked and the sender address is in my safe list ( from a previous comp) I admit it could be a hotmail issue but there must be a high % affected . The resend option now says allow 7 days for a response .0 -
It's really strange that it is only hotmail having problems. I would of thought a high percentage of winners would have used a hotmail address. I can't remember any problems last year?0

Right STILL no confirmation emails (we're both on Hotmail). How can Jet 2 give away 1000 more flights today when they haven't even managed to sort these out??:mad:
I don't think (as in previous replies) that it is Hotmail's fault as every other email comes through instantly. It looks like Jet 2's !!!! up to me...
