02-anyone recommend/have serious warning advice??

I have been with Vodafone for about 9 years and have changed my tariff a few times but I now dont know anyone on V and am spending too much on minutes and tects despite having some inclusive. Anyway, I have been searching on 02 website which most of my family are on and there are 2 offers which I cant decide between (and I'm rubbish at making decisions!:o )

There's "online 200" sim only which gives 400 xnet anytime mins and 1000 texts but it says £30/month, contract 30 days so I dont understand how I pay each month (do I top up like a Pay as you go phone?) what happens if I use up those inclusive amounts (which I doubt I would) and how do I go about unlocking my phone and can I keep my mobile number??

The other offer is "online 200" which has the same phone as I have now (but in different colur) 300 xnet anytime minutes and 750 texts (which should be enough for me) and again is £30/month but 18 month contract.

Any advice would be welcome, thanks

Its like a contract it comes out of yer bank account.its just easier to cancel than a contract.

Ive just jumped ship from vodafone to 02 online contract, i opted for the 200 mins 500 texts for £30 a month on a 12 month contract which will suit me, im missing the delivery reciepts that i got with voda but 02 dont support them as the norm you have to input a code at the begining of each message if you want a reciept. The sim only is like contract but you are only tied a month at a time and no new phone but if you have a phone thats not a problem and there are 12 month deal if your not happy with an 18 month term.

I had my pay as you go o2 online sim changed to have the 'call 500' bolt on. For £23.50 a month it gives me 500 anytime any netork mins. If I don't top up I just don't get the mins. Cheaper than 3, and none of the hassle of having 3!

Also the O2 anytime any network minutes allow you to call 0800/0808/0844/0845/ 0870 and 07744 numbers,unlike other networks.

O2 value their customers business, and out of all the networks they offer the best retention deals for customers thinking of leaving the network.
