Allegro Jubilee..... Triumph Spitfire... Alfasud..... Ford Corsair..... hardly exotic though.... the nearest I came to exotic was a very poor condition Matra Bagheera, or possibly the Marcos Mantis I owned for three days....

I thought it was you who also owned a Gaz?

and I have to ask, why only 3 days with the Mantis?
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

Nothing particularly exotic I'm on my second Mk1 MR2 (currently being V6'd):

My first car was a V4 Saab 96 which while not 'exotic' was unusual to say the least. Pic's not of mine but same colour.

ok like others have said not really exotic,5.0l ford mustang the horrible 80's shape, but lightning fast in a straight line, and a rover sd1 lotus twin plenum which i bought off my brothers garage for £50 no one knowing it was anything special including me,until someone offered me £1500 for it i wish i had kept it ,it was a great car and worth a lot more now.

    Red suzuki swift 2000 - 1.3 auto.
Just under 20K miles, i love it

Actually think the current Swift a verrrrry smart 'supermini'.

In fact a lot more value for £$£$ than actual MINI!! & more funky & less common, too!

Very true, that's why my wife drives one! Great little car.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

One interesting quirk. In cold weather you had to de-ice the headlights to get them to pop-up!!

    *chuckle*

Honda Prelude Gen2s were the same. Never forget my brother coming home with one popped up, one closed.

This is Mrs V's car, she NEVER has problems getting her headlights to pop up, in cold weather:p - I'm refereing, of course, to the Mk1 Mx5', not the one she owns!!

It is as rare as you'll get, as there were only 250 in this colour, Garnet red, destined for UK market.

It's a Montana & has lots of xtras, as standard - even got a hardtop, on just now!! Considered the best specification Mx5 they made!

1978 TR7 white hardtop with front-end welding already done when I bought it! ;)

    Albion!! I own a TR7 as well!

TR7 Blue 1982 Drop Head Coupe. Bought it last year, its been stored for 15 years and has 50,000 original miles and full history. Condition is almost perfect and entirely original. Even the spare wheel in the boot is the original, never fitted alloy with chalk marks on the tyre :D Love it to bits but I'm very precious over it, it wont come out over winter or in the wet.

This was my dream car as a kid and I wouldn't part with it for anything.

1st car - merc 190e <---- the most fun car i have driven
2nd car - L200 pickup truck <--- what can you say it was bonkers
    3rd car - bmw 740 e38 <
nice car but vastly expensive cost 7k for a year
4th car - volvo s80 <---- a very cheap lease after the 7series blew up and a chance to save up for my next car, this is about as sensible as i get.

    next car jaguar xk8 convertable

i dont consider them that exotic but considering i only passed my test 4 years (and 100k miles now) ago i think i am doing pretty well, now if only i could rely on an 80s merc sl as a daily driver.
