Money Saving is not about paying Microsoft for copies of Windows!
At least you don't try to prevent others from viewing the articles - thank goodness for small mercies!

I'm interested to know why you think this is optimised for IE. I only ever use Firefox for this site, and don't have any problems with articles/forums or anything else showing fine on this site.
I had a problem once before with an article showing properly, but after changing my settings at this end, it was cured.
If you think there is a problem with the layout of the site. Surely it would also help the team if you at least publish details of the problems so they can look into it rather than just proclaiming a problem without any details? How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Yeah I remember that post aswell about 6weeks ago I think.
And Rex if you post a PM in IE it does look quite different to FF
and also FF loses focus when scrolling and replying at the same time.0 -

It's a real shame, which not only flies in the face of the ethos of the internet and web (which are supposed to be based on open standards), but panders to a convicted monopolist, currently facing a €500M fine from the EC. "Consumer Revenge" it says on the left (even in Firefox
).

Oh, and by the way, browser statistics can be misleading because some of the "other" browsers have to pretend to be Internet Explorer in order to be allowed in to some badly designed sites which actually won't let any other browser access them!Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I forgot just how evil he is... http://www.abcmoney.co.uk/news/2920061814.htm :rolleyes:0 -
Having said that, I do appreciate that some effort has obviously been put in to make things compatible - the site could have used lots of MS-specific things which would have made it completely unusable with anything else. A good example of this is Abel and Cole, which looks exactly the same as it used to, but is now compatible with the world, not just the world according to Microsoft.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

He's a very very rich man - this is small change to him. Does this make him any more philanthropic than someone on a normal income who, say, has a direct debit of £15 a month to a charity? I don't think so!
Instead of swallowing this PR without question, perhaps you should ask why he does not provide his software at a price affordable to the sort of people he is professing to help in developing countries?
I presume your username is not accidental (especially considering the avatar you used to have). Intel is the dominant microprocessor maker, which has many interests in common with Microsoft - hence the word "Wintel" and the marketing money it pumps into the TV ads for PC World, etc, etc, in order to play its annoying "Intel Inside" jingleTime is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
