Letter to Gordon Brown

Hi folks, I thought It would be fun to compose a letter to Gordon Brown with input from you lot. It would help if it could be a little bit funny just to lift our spirits a bit.
This would be my opening line:
Mr Brown
What most people want you to actually do is get your hairy, lying, thieving @rse back over Hadrian’s Wall and take your Darling ‘Eyebrows’ with you.
You are wasting billions of pounds of taxpayers money that we haven’t even earnt yet and are not likely to ever be able to earn with the level of predicted job losses. It is truly ‘jaw dropping’ isn’t it? And I mean that quite literally.:p

If Maggie was here we would all be starving in the streets, as she would of privatised the welfare state we cant have it all and nothing is perfect. Mr B may not be perfect but at least he appears to care and seems to be trying to help.
However I do wonder about the banking system... I know ity collapsing would be v v bad but I think giving those greedy sods all our cash is a bad idea but I personally have no better idea, all I can say is I am glad its not my job to sort this mess out becasue I don't think I could do a betetr job.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0 -

I think labour have been more than obliging in privatization.(Trains, nuclear power etc.)0 -

Oh purlease.
Must Thatcher, someone from 2 decades ago be dragged into everything....if she must, can we not use untrue extremities?0 -

The other week California couldn't pay out welfare cheques ... perhaps we should start a programme of "Lucky Dip: randomly not receive your cheque". Perk things up a bit. Like a reverse lottery.
Many of those on benefits aren't worrying because their income's fixed... they think.0 -

Hang on a minute, do you want to jog your memory back to the state of the coffers when Maggie took over? I think the polite term is fooked.
Want to remind us which party the conservatives inherited it from. Yep, you guessed it, Labour!:mad::mad:I take it you have forgotten that for the first time in this nation's history, socialists overspent and went begging to the IMF for forgivess. The appearance that Brown cares has lots to do with getting re-elected and nothing about getting this nation back on track. Sometimes, you need tough love to fix the situation
Some of us can actually live through the good times without state support. Shame Labour didnt twig onto that, or we wouldnt have a public debt approaching 300% including bailouts and PFI.. :eek:0 -
!!!! off!
succinct and to the point at least.0 -
