I passed!! I have my interview on Monday. The test was indeed VERY basic easier than I had thought it would be. The most stressful bit was the 15 mins waiting at the end to find out if we had passed or not. I was handed quite a thick envelope with all the interview info in it. A few people (out of our group of 8....15 should have turned up!!) got thinner envelopes, dont know if that means they failed??
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!

Dont worry, the one that I went to today felt very informal although everything was done formally if that makes sense!! There were 3 people from dwp there and they were all very friendly and made sure everybody knew what they were doing.
    Good luck.

Can I ask for examples of what the numeracy test contained? I'm a little worried about this test as math has never really been my strong point. Does this test contain things like fractions and ratios? If so, how in depth are they?

    Thanks,

Hi, In the one I did last Tuesday there were ratios, percentages and using info from up to 5 lists. The numeracy test is mulitiple choice so I guess if you are stuck on any you can guess! Good luck.

Thanks for the reply Tigerlilly. Can you give a similar example of what the ratio questions were? I'm not asking for the exact same questions, I just want an idea of how indepth I have to research.

Also, using info from 5 lists sounds very time consuming! I hope I don't run out of time!

    Thanks

The one I did was a college, 1 list had the number of seats, 1 had the number of computers, 1 had whether the room had disabled access and so on. The ratio ones were along the lines of what is the ratio of seats in room a to seats in room b.
