The same thing has happened to me and I've done a load of investigation work to find out..... same account number etc.
The payments are made from a Natwest account owned by ING who took over from Kaupthing's Edge. Any payments from the Natwest account are owed interest payments owed to savers when KE went pear shaped.
Mystery solved! I'm glad as I was worried I was about to be a victim of identity fraud.Mortgage free due to an Employment Tribunal Appeal win. The ivory tower occupants tried to walk all over me.... that was a mistake wasn't it?0 -
well the point is that it isn't a person's account - otherwise their name should come with the transaction!
Only if they actually include data in the Name field of the BACS transaction.
.......... which would be sensible in the light of the solution at the previous post.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
