Didn't want to read and run, but what sort of uniform does she need. I assume its playschool?0

no proper school, grey slips and polo t-shirts, skirts and tights but in school colours which are grey and royal blue, also need cardigans cos the school ones are too big:T started comping 2009:T0

Ahhh bless, I bet she's lovely and teeny.
How about BHS? I know because a lot of preschools ask you wear uniform now that some of the bigger stores will stock them in smaller sizes for about 3 years old.
How are your sewing skills?Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

What's a slip? The smallest size I've ever seen is age 3 and then you have to by it when you see them cos they go quick and unfortunately this time of year there isn't much uniform in stock.
DD had an age 3 skirt from m& s when she was in nursery which was short in length with adjustable waist, the other items I picked up in the usual places (bhs, tesco)0 -
I'm pretty sure Mothercare do school clothes age 3 and up.0

I recommend wonderweb for hems!! M&S also do uniform from age 3. You'll probably find adjustable waists are a must - non-adjustable waists seem to be tailored for the billy and bessie bunters of this world!! Do you have a school uniform shop anywhere local to you? You may find that they will stock some smaller sizes. You'll probably also find that the size you want will never be in the colour you want and vice versa!!
Good luck though - I've got a titchy 3 year old who needs to do some growing before he starts school in September!!!
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
My daughter is very small as well. I'm planning to get her age 3 pinafores from Marks as you can order online. With the polo shirts it's not too bad as even if they are coming up bigger, they won't look too odd. It's more the jumpers that area problem, but she's been wearing nursery uniform for the past year which has swamped her a bit and it's still been okay. At least she matches everyone else.
Go to Marks online uniform. Select age 3 and buy one of each and then check for fit as they will all fit differently and one style will be better than the others. Then take the others back to sstore for a refund."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Not sure but maybe contact a local pre school or nursery that has uniforms (maybe a private school??) and see where they recommend. Hope you find something for her!0

Talk about overkill.
The majority of schools in the U.K have uniform and children start in school nursery at age 3. 0
