scruffy dog walkers?? trinny and susannah in 10 mins

Calling all fellow scruffy dog walkers - t and s are on in a moment making over (and presumably groping) dog walkers

http://www.itv.com/PressCentre/:money:

I wonder if they will offer advice on how to stay chic when your dog rolls in somethings poopy then jumps on you? (thanks for that Badger! - the highlight of this evenings walk)

Oh dear. Hope I don't run into them on my next walkies. Or rather, hope for their sake they don't run into me and my dog, 'cos they're going to get some dogie paws all over their snazzy outfits!

How can you have fun with your dog, whilst out, if you are wearing immaculate clothing?

I'm afraid I'm a scruffy dog walker too. I don't mind getting mud all over my old jeans, walking boots and coat. If I was wearing tidy stuff, I'd be fretting about getting mud all over it!

And anyway, anyone ever tried walking a bull terrier in stillettos and mini skirts? LOL.
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Don't throw away food challenge started 30/10/11 £4.45 wasted.

  • Oh my word... how funny is this show!!! LOL, talk about two extremes. There must be something in the middle. What's wrong with clean jeans and a half decent top? x
  • its hilarious - I am in the jeans, t shirt and hoody camp myself - but then I cant get it into my head that I am not a teenager anymore!
I also never go out of the house without eyeliner and mascara, which gives me the illusion that I look presentable!:rotfl:

At this time of year my regular attire is a pair of faded old jeans which have slight oil stains, tucked into my floral wellies. A padded purple jacket, which is fairly nice but I have my pockets stuffed with the leads, poobags, tennis balls, my phone and keys so I look pretty lumpy.

If it's really cold I wear a black "magic" scarf pulled up over my head.

Mornings I have to do this, I take the dog with me when I walk DS2 to school, hiking boots and jeans. I get back, switch the straightners on, throw my suit on (if skirt then tights under jeans on morning) do hair then high boots/shoes then back out the door. When I get back I do the same reversed, back into jeans/tshirt and muddy boots :D I have once walked him in my trousers and boots then as I was on my way into posh hotel realised the boots were still on, quick dash back to the car for shoes which are always in there (I can't drive with them on!)
One day I might be more organised...........

  • I wonder what t & s would make of me  Depending on where we're going / how much it's rained it's either purple sparkly wellies or walking boots, jeans, a zip up fleece, my never EVER washed completely weather-proof and cozy warm waterproof and a Thinsulate hat.

I look FABulous daaarlings! :D

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.
  • oh, I forgot about waterproofs penny watcher - I have a cycling jacket that was a bargain from lidl (about a tenner three or four years ago) which is thin, lightweight, waterproof and breathable and ideal to chick on as a top layer when its wet - the only problem is it is designed to be hi-vis so it is flourescent yellow with reflective trims!!

    stylish!!!:rotfl:
  • The water-proof is the best bit! OH brought it home from work one say as a 'present' from a supplier. It's HUGE man-size, but it is meant to be suitable outerwear if I ever wanted to sail the Southern Oceans or go white water rafting. Can't wash it as the water-proofing will go, but the mud usually gets washed off in the rain. :D

BTW the colour under then mud is black and dark blue/grey - very suitable colours if you happen to get washed overboard.
