If you chop the mushrooms or any veg really finely then you can hide it in there. As for the carrots how about making some veg soup.If you puree the soup then the kids wont know it has veg in as they cant see it

My grandad always used to mash the carrots in with the mash spuds! He said it was special orange potatoe. I didn't a clue untill I was old enough to see what he did!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

puree the veg (cooked) before adding to the mince?
Do they like/eat tomato? Adding tomatoes to a soup etc will disguise the colour and taste of most other veg.0 -
I used to grate carrot and cheese together and put in sandwiches with either salad cream, mayo or burger relish, and lettuce they ate them tho they wouldn't eat carrots normallyPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0

I grate it into spag bol.. and savoury mince.. and alsorts!
Mine will eat raw carrot, they just don't like it cooked!!
I also mash well cooked carrots (and turnip and swede and parsnip and anything else that is mashable!) into mashed potato and blend it into gravy.. very sneaky!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I can usually throw a few carrots in there without anyone noticing... especially because it gets blended at the end
and the orange colour is explained by the red lentils!
