e2save price match query

Just had e2save calling me as i filled out a price match form

the deal i had seen was on MOBILE RAINBOW

12 MONTHS CONTRACT

they told me they could not price match it and did not give me a proper reason :rolleyes: they just said that it dont add up and e2save is a large company blah blah blah n the advisor offered me 6 months free which is no comparison-

:rolleyes: why cant they do a price match if it said on there website they can as long as they'r like-for-like?

and to be honest - dont trust mobile rainbow so ill keep searching for a good deal!

any suggestions / help would be appreciated

Every price match ive done with E2save has been ridiculous! It seems to me, the only way they'l even try is if you have already made an order, as they don't want you to cancel it. Other than that, they never seem to actually price match!

i know - iv tried twice and they just told me where to go (in a nice way ofcourse) lol

i had a deal last year from e2save which was talk n text 900 @ £12 / month which they had price matched but theyr not price matching any more!

theyve added something saying 'we can decide not to price match if we like'

so pretty pointless

cpw in their sale brochure instore have the 7600 on talk text and video 700, for 9 months free, but its a crap phone

To be fair to e2save, my GF got them to match dialaphone for a Nokia 6111 with 8 months £3.99 on a 12 month contract.

I know lots of other people who have had prices matched.

Just tell them the web address of the offer and they'll match it!

wel ive submitted a price match request and stated 3 other websites with the offer on, i shall see, but its not disimilar to the OPs request that was turned down.

I got a price match of 10 months half price from e2save, when SE W800i launched without any problems

I tried the SE price match this afternoon and they refused slagging off Mobile Rainbow as an unscrupulous operator I phoned Mobile rainbow and had a chat they seem fine. But who knows.
Might refer e2save to trading standards.
