Hi looking for some advice.

I cancelled my 3 contract a week ago, took up a new contract with orange (phones4u) happy with the phone just a bit pricey @ 30.00 a month

3 wouldn't match phones4u deal with the phone I wanted so I just cancelled my contract

3 rang me back today (1 week after having my orange phone) offering

300mins
1000texts
50 video calling mins
50 video or pic msg
£5 download free
W910i refurbished walkman
1gb memory card
£8.00 a month
12month

Thats a pretty amazing deal.

BUT i'm on this new contract
Do I have 14 day peace of mind guarantee? on my new orange phone
So technically I can take it back
Then sign up to the 3 one?

If you bought it from a store there's no cooling off period.
If you bought online, then yes, you have 14 days to change your mind and return it.

I've once had a bad experience with 3 in the past on contract renewal when they did not provide anything in writing.

However I think this offer is genuine since I've got a similar deal just a few days back. I got my PAC code from 3 and waited a couple of weeks expecting them to better their offer. I have received the new contract in post and it is £10/month for 12 month, 750 X-net mins / 1000 text, W910i refurbished.

Arghhh im in such a dilema i dont know what to do??

It says phones4u has a 7 day peace of mind policy so could I still take the phone back? I have tommorow which is my FINAL day of that 7

Would they still take the phone back even though i've used it for those days? I kept all my receipts and packaging

It was bought from a store and I read on website that its 7 days for in store and 14 days online

Will they hassle me if I try to cancel?? I've read about someone trying to cancel and getting arrested beaten up etc etc!!!

What reasons could I give? Don't like the phone and prefer my old company? Just lost my job and not got as bigger monthly earnings?!

    HELP!

I once returned an Orange phone to a CPW store, just said I didn't like the phone, no questions were asked. I just had to pay the line rental pro rata for the week I had the phone which was billed by Orange the following month.
