There is still a load left but I will have to throw it away, it is so disgusting!! I knew I was making a mistake when I started browning it off. Unfortunetely I bought a few bags and I will have to give them to my cats. Infact it really reminds me of the chicken I used to buy from the pet shop!!!!
If it's Tesco own brand I think you can ask for a refund if you take it back, I did this with some of their nappies and something else: forget what.0 -

To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

The good thing about our local butchers is that most (if not all) of their meat is either from their own farm or locally sourced.
And we can buy the kind of small amounts that we want - not what the supermarkets want to sell us.
So a typical Saturday morning shop would include two chicken fillets, a couple of their own-produced kebabs, four speciality sausage, 3 rashers of smoked bacon, and maybe a couple of their own beefburgers if I feel like it. All quality local meat.
Not a huge amount at all. Cost? Around £7 - £9.00 or maybe £10.00 if we get beef. And all served with a friendly smile and discussion about how everything's going. :j
Wild horses wouldn't get me in any of the supermarkets for meat.
Same with local vege. on the market. Usually a fiver for what we get for two for the week.Where now?0 -
