T-Mobile - any good?

We've been with 3 for the last year and found their coverage in our area to be pretty poor to say the least - can only make a call in our house if we are at the window of the front room. We had decided to go with either Orange or Vodafone as we have always found them to be good in the past but I notice that T-Mobile have some pretty good deals. We live in Renfrew - just SW of Glasgow - anyone have any idea what the T-Mobile reception is like? I don't know anyone with T-Mobile - maybe that tells me something!

Cheers

    try the t-mobile coverage checker:
    http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=ctl_change_state&name=searchResults&value=off&nextpageid=phones_cua_uc_gis
    or if that doesn't work,
    https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/coverage
You may find that it is just your phone that gets poor signal, i would therefore recommend trying your sim in other phones.
otherwise, orange claim to have the best signal in "remote areas".

Before getting a contract on T-Mobile I would suggest you get hold of a cheap Virgin SIM and try out the coverage of your intended area. Virgin use the T-Mobile network so this will tell you what to expect.

Is better to spend £5 on a Virgin SIM rather than make an expensive mistake with a contract. IMHO.

I agree with virgo17 T mobile told me by telephone call coverage was good in my area but in my house and work it was no good, now using same phone on O2 sim card coverage in the house and work a lot better.

I am with T-Mobile and must say I'm quite happy with them. I'm on a rather "large" contract (400 free minutes per month) because I use the phone a lot for work and claim the phonecalls on expenses, which pay for almost all of it so I have no complaints in this regard.

Living in London I find the coverage reasonable, although in some areas it's a bit dodgy.

Until now, their customer services have been fairly good to me.

    :)
