Sky

Options
hi - this is my first post so i hope it hasnt already come up

i just phoned sky to change to them as i'm fed up of virgin media. well they must be in a good mood as i have just got my box + installation free. i got sky tv, phone and broadband at £26.50 a month

THEN they upgraded it to sky plus at no extra fee.
they are advertising on the website a free standard box + only £30 to install. but i got a sky plus box free (should be £99) + free installation (should be £30). unfortunatly as i didnt do it online i missed out on M&S vouchers - but i dont shop there any way and will make better use of sky+!!!!

Perhaps because in certain people opinion, they are useless, cant get their charges right (keep overcharging!) and cut people off without any notice or reaso. Their left hand does not know what their right hand is doing!!! (But of course, that is only my opinion!)

We were paying £37 a month for 20mb broadband with virgin and £15 a month for phone with BT, now we're paying £30 a month for broadband and phone through virgin = happy.

    Not bothered about the telly.

Good luck when Sky goes wrong, when they're not making money out of you they are absolutely awful.

does your £26.50 include line rental, if not it should for that amount. \you did very well to get installation free

In fairness, i have never had a problem with sky in the seven or eight years i have been with them.
if there is a problem, i ring up, its now a free call as i am with skytalk, and they solve my problem, job done.

i rang up to cancel a small package, they gave me half price line rental for 3 months and £15 off my subscription for 6 months. Cant fault them personally

the price includes line rental + free evening + weekend calls.

virgin keep over charging, the box is dying and they wont replace it. (it's an NTL box still!) the broadband keeps crashing. more expensive than sky... need i go on?

my mum, aunt and MIL all have sky with no issues!

Yes, you are being charged correctly then in that case, the package is £16.50 and your line rental is £10.

Because some people will just take the first price they offer & not question it.
