Twice I have called BG just before 7pm and both times an engineer called before 11pm the same day.

On one occasion water was pouring through the ceiling and the whole tank needed draining. The engineer called a colleague out and they stayed til 1am sorting the problem out.

I've had Homecare for two years on my currently property. They've fixed the plumbing three times, the electrics once and done two boiler services.

When there's been an emergency they've been prompt and effective.

Only on one occasion would they not do the job as it was pre-existing. However, they did make it safe (electrical fault) and advise what to do.

I can't complain about them as their service has been good.

  • The electrics, I did not know they were electricians as well, should they be doing that sort of work, I hope your electric's don't fuse!!!
I suppose for 10 unhappy customers they must get one who can't complain!

Homecare cover my gas, central heating, electrics and plumbing. Yes it's a bit expensive (£22 a month for a 4 bed house) but well worth it. Particularly so when we bought the house from a bodge-it dodgy DIY specialist, which was why it was cheap. If something goes wrong we call Homecare out - they fix it. Definately worthwhile.
