Help with 3 Mobile - not playing their part of the bargain!
I am on my second phone contract with 3 mobile. The first phone I had kept breaking (it would keep crashing all the time) and I was promised that when I renewed my contract, the new phone would be absolutly fine, and it was just a design fault with the old one. Stupidly I agreed, but 6 months into my 18month contract, the new Nokia phone also keeps crashing.
I have taken it into the 3 shop a number of times and they say it's not their problem because it's the phone, and not listening to my arguement that the contract is with 3 NOT nokia!
They say they can try and fix it for me but it will wipe everything off my phone, which is incredibly annoying and a real inconvenience.
I have asked about cancelling my contract but I would have to pay my line rental for the remainder of the contract (about £200.)
Has anyone had a similar experience, or can you give me advice on what I should do next?
Thanks!

6 months into the contract is too late to expect them to cancel it.
Back up the contents and allow them to repair it.
Keep a diary of any further problems and use this if necessary to show the phone is a lemon.0 -
I had a problem with my phone similar a few months ago. I called their callcentre (333) and persuaded them to take it away and replace with a refurbished handset for free.0
