Think broadband supplier has gone bust

Comments

  • oops

I think our ISP is having problems - they are a small company who supply ADSL that ultimately comes from Nildram.

We were cut off a few days ago, the ISP is completely uncontactable and we finally discovered from Nildram that the bill is unpaid.

How can we extract ourselves and get online again if we can't contact the ISP, I don't expect a MAC code will be forthcoming.
  • more detail please...who has gone bust?
Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.
  • I'd rather not say as it is a tiny business and they are acquaintances of ours - gone bust might be an overstatement but they are obviously having financial problems.

Can BT, or Nildram override the ISP's rights to our line/account?
  • think broadband (the title of you post) is a well known er...broadband site, maybe you could alter the title to avoid confusion?
As to the current ISP being acquaintances of yours...it doesn't seem to be bothering them too much :(
contact BT...that 'may' be able to help.

my guess though, as nildram=pipex=tiscali, is that your ISP could be EzeeDSL or EFH Broadband, or another 186k company?!
