You are joking, must have been a good party weekend at the selfridges depo. Although the hamper is lovely it isn't anywhere close to being worth £1000. I am happy with the price I paid especially as I did get the ipod, but I wouldn't pay any more for it.:A

To add, the basket is good quality but in my opinion it's totally spoilt by all of the spray paint all over it. Would have been much nicer in just a plain basket.:A

Glad you got your ipod Toto. :j You should find out where your cracker went though (it *was* listed for yours wasn't it?)
I know what you mean about the hampers, at 75% off some of them seem about the right price to me, but some still seem kind of pointless.0 -
I can't believe that they're still charging £7.50 delivery for the empty baskets!0

Do people who have had the hamper think it's worth £250 without the ipod? Really tempted but it is a lot of money.
I think if you read Toto's post above, she's happy with the hamper at that price BUT she got the ipod in hers.
I'm not sure that it's such a great deal without, but that's an individual thing. There are things in there that I certainly wouldn't buy nor appreciate. Or rather I might appreciate them, but wouldn't be paying what they cost, as I'd rather spend the money on other stuff. I guess that's the difference, a lot of the things in these hampers are gorgeous, but they're not necessarily worth that kind of money to me. £250 +£25 postage is a lot to spend on nail varnish & cleansers. As with everything things are only worth what you're prepared to pay for them!0
