  • morning all.

Just caught up - welcome back Jinky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gemmzie - also read the spoons piece - very well written article.

Just back from teaching my morning class with the sixth formers - they were great, although I sniffed my way through it a bit but got through it. They all made a vegetable stir fry with noodles. I'll have them cooking at university yet ;)

Rest of the day - take Charlie out, AQA and then go out to class tonight. More Italian Baked Fish with lemon and lime syllabub tonight.

    Ames & Linda

thanks - I was reckoning on having to look in the evening post to find a chemist that would be open and I'd forgotten about the City Station one!

If I was really cheeky, I'd just ask my boss to write it out and take it to pharmacy at LGI to be filled but that seems to be a bit too cheeky IYSWIM! Of course, cheeky be dammed if I was desperate ;)

"I like Tony anyway he comes"

Bit early for that isn't it Lou????

Never to early for a bit of Tony:D

Yes he still does have the little beardy thing:cool:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning :o

Weird few days but I'm feeling a bit better I think. Just full of a cold, so I look like hell. I managed 40 minutes at the gym yesterday though, and have lost 3lbs this week, so that's cheered me up a bit.

Edit - the Boots at Leeds train station used to be 24 hours - not sure if it still is.

I just added 2 more £1 coins to my £500 sealed tin, it's feeling pretty heavy now! must be nearly half full!
    I'm stuffing notes in too!
but should I spend it on..
1, new bathroom - shower is awful, barely a dribble and the whole rooom is a mess!
2, new boiler - current one is circa 1970's and a new efficient one would rid us of the emersion tank and save us some dosh!
3, cavity wall and roof insulation
