morning all -
nowt exciting going on here... but then i like a quiet life!
y'know not going to running club last night was great, Erin was at brownies and big g was out so i had almost an hour and a half to myself... y'know what i did... i tidied up! but it was a very productive tidy as noone was in my road.... and sadly, i feel so much more on an even keel domestically and no guilty mother syndrome. So goes to show that going to runclub on a monday is more hassle than it's worth....?
Does that make sense?
I will continue going on a Wednesday, as it's not a night for other things and doesn't involve rushing around n stuff....
ahem, and telly is good on a monday! corrie/eastenders/corrie/unforgiven/biggest loser...
lol!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
and linda - you can have your butter, not a flinch from me there.... however i would hold denis to ransom for a teacake!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

Maz, I agree that sometimes we make our days for too hectic for it to be productive IYSWIM if having a tidy house and a night infront of the telly makes you feel less stressed then its the right thing for you.
I love Monday telly too, when I come in from work I have a date with Jack Bauer........24 new series started last week:T
Plus Tony Almeda is back in it, fancy him something rotten and he looks like my Hubby (a bit if you squint):DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Linda - it's the thought of the currants, raisins and sultanas that puts me off tea cakes (they remind me of dead flies and I've never been able to eat them).
I've been really healthy and had bran flakes, followed by indigestion 20 minutes later - which thankfully seems to be going now!
Lou - enjoy your day off and do something just for you!!!
Bookseller - I read something about yesterday being the worst day in the year and it seems that today isn't that much better.

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
