They vary enormously. My daughter, now 7 and VERY bright, didn't speak at all until she was 3 and was still on single words or maybe 2 word sentences at 4. She didn't toilet train until she was 4. Her drawing was pathetic. But she has caught up and is now an extremely articulate little girl, whose drawing is fantastic. She might have been in nappies/pullups at 3 years 10 months but one month later she was fully dry day and night. So don't worry. It is meaningless. As one person commented somewhere, I don't remember where, giraffes can stand up and walk at an hour old but they're never going to learn how to read.

I keep thinking my DD is a genius becasue she can do so much more at two and a half than DS could at that age, she already holds a pencil better than he does and he's seven!!!
She can do quite hard jigsaws whereas he was still doing the simple plug in ones, and i was amazed when she drew a spider complete with legs!!
However DS was walking at 9 months where as she didn't til well after 12 months and he could kick a football catch etc which she can't do so i really think it is just that kids are different and will do things when ready and not before!!
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.
