How to learn about licensing inventions?

OK - My dad's made what I think is a brilliant invention - Bigger public loos with a small footprint - I won't go into details here. He's drawn up plans - used to be an engineer, and got it patented. He can't be bothered with the patent costs anymore so I'm going to take them on.
I think these would be great in Theme Parks - Disney et al, but naturally i'm not going to go into production myself.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for information on Licensing etc, if I can get the right company interested then they can licence the product from me and that way I don't need to do the investment needed for marketing and production.
I'm going to do most of the research myself and see if I can get anyone interested but don't want to be taken for a mug in the licensing game so need a 'Dummies guide to...'

Well, it sounds a bit different to me in that the patent is already in place. However, a search never goes amiss.bridiej wrote:I'm fairly sure this has been asked before, try doing a search of this forum
All I will say is that if these go into production, and I ever meet the OP's father, I hope he will not take it amiss if I kiss him! Too small cubicles (especially with an overlarge bin jammed in!) are the bane of my life!Signature removed for peace of mind0
