BTW, lot of snow here too but my OH is contracted to finish a job working on a rooftop and he has gone to it.

I am not blaming snow for me not getting to work. I just don't have to go in. It's part of my contract. I can do my job as well from home as I can at work.. I was very lucky to bag a job like that.
I do go to the office most of the time though... I find it fairly boring at home..:rotfl: No actually, very boring.

And today off will spoil Any's spotless attendance record too :)

My OH has just come in from work now - been out in the snow since 6.30 a.m. He is frozen, his clothes are stiff from the cold. Bloody lazy Brit.had the nerve to complain he's cold and wants a cup of tea, typical.

As for my previous post - no, it won't:T

Get up from your computer and make him one! He deserves it.
(My OH drinks about 20 cups a day. What is it about you english and cups of tea?:D )

A/I have this job only since May 08.
B/I turn in finished work every day.

Are you still really saying that you are not trying to find a fault on everything I say?:rotfl:

The snow was hardly unexpected! Plenty of time to plan a route into work. I got up at 4.30 this morning because I knew I would have a long slog getting in to London.

Those of us that put in the extra effort to get in to work today have decided that those that didn't make the effort, should have their pay docked for how ever many days they decide to bunk off and the money given to charity. Don't think you lazy bu@@ers have had your work done for you either, we just did the urgent stuff and the rest has been piled up for your return.

I tried to get into work but the entire railway line was suspended. No amount of forward planning could have got me in today.

Lazy Brit!!! You should have spent the weekend at work!

    I'm not a Brit.

And actually, I did go to work this weekend to catch up.

My car got stuck in a drift, so I ripped the AA map book in half and fashioned a couple of snowshoes. 4 hours later I was at work. Who had already eaten all the croissants? Yep, you guessed it - bloody Johnny Foreigner once again. I don't mind him getting paid more than me, even sleeping with my wife on alternate weekends - but those croissants are sacrosanct. If an Englishman can't get his croissants (mod: surely bacon sarnie) then something is very wrong with the world.
  • I live SE London on a hill. Stupid me forgot the jet ski's at work.

I suggest that we all petition our MPs to do something, and stop the strikes as more work will just flood out of the UK.

Please feel free to draw reference from my past rants as i will stand my ground and defend it for all Migrants that work and work hard contributing to the econmony. My parents sent money back to their homeland but still class themselves as British citizens, they paid their taxes and ni here.:T

Its people like you, going native in your own country, that will be the end of the pig farmers. You should be ashamed of yourself. And four hours? Could you not have augmented the snow shoes with the windscreen wipers and simply ski'd in half the time, lazy sod.
